Dinner for the 500th Anniversary of Machiavelli’s “The Prince”

To celebrate the quincentenary of Machiavelli’s The Prince, Azzurra hosts a marvelous dinner to culminate the conference “From Earthly Pleasures to Princely Glories in the Medieval and Renaissance Worlds,” held at the UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.

Antonella and Marco Cavalieri of Le Corte dei Farfensi, sponsor the event by offering bottles of their olive oil to all conference participants, as well as their wine to accompany the meal. To eat, the esteemed LA based chef Gino Angelini prepares swordfish in tomato sauce, salad, and porchetta, while Elisabetta Ciardullo of Think Italian! Events makes pasta with calamari, and cacio pepe. For dessert, a buffet of ciambellone, bavarese, and strawberry aspic.
