Mission

The Azzurra is a non profit organization, founded in 2007 to advance the cause of human dignity and personal expression, through the exchange of culture between Italy and Southern California.

Guided by its distinguished board, the organization aims to highlight and showcase the influence of Italian culture and its artistic achievements by hosting events such as film festivals, photography and fine art exhibits, dinners, and lectures.

Adding to the original goal of the association the new Azzurra (2019) is specifically committed to support the tradition of art-making in Italy and its potential to create meaningful dialogue on social issues.
