The tasting will feature both the Olive Leaf Tea of Le Corti dei Farfensi, and the YAME-CHA green tea of GOLDA, both rich in antioxidants, and cultivated organically.
The Olive Leaf Tea, first tasted at our olive oil tasting last November, is delicately flavored, rejuvenating, and caffeine free, its leaves collected from the same ancient trees as the olive oil, and only during the flowering to preserve maximum antioxidants.
The YAME-CHA comes from the Koroki town in the city of Yame, in the Fukuoka prefecture, in Japan.
The tasting will be held on the patio of Tortoise General Store, a perfect sanctuary, founded in 2003 by wife and husband team, Keiko and Taku Shinimoto, to introduce and exhibit works of Japanese artists and traditional Japanese techniques.
